Shravani Mela 2022: Ayush decoction will be distributed among the devotees in Shravani Mela, emergency medicines will also be arranged

Patna. Ayush decoction will be distributed among the devotees in Shravani Mela. Along with this, 58 types of general and 16 types of emergency medicines will also be given in the camps. Actually the month of Sawan is going on and lakhs of devotees are busy in performing Jalabhishek in Deoghar. In such a situation, the Health Department has also made separate arrangements for the devotees regarding the world famous Shravani Mela.

Health Minister Mangal Pandey has taken a meeting with the officials and has decided that the Health Department will distribute free Ayush decoction to the devotees for the prevention of corona. For this, different camps have also been set up. Ayush decoction will be distributed on behalf of the Health Department in the temporary Kanwaria camp set up at Marwari Yuva Manch, Sultanganj (Bhagalpur), HSC Teghra, Tarapur (Munger) and Gelabiya, (Banka).

Mangal Pandey said that the Health Department is working diligently to provide better health facilities to the devotees on Kanwaria Path during the one month long Shravani Mela and to deal with the emergency situation along with 24-hour medical facilities and essential medicines. 17 ALSA (Advanced Life Support Ambulance) and 40 BALSA (Basic Life Support Ambulance) ambulances equipped with state-of-the-art technology have also been deployed in the Mela area. According to the Health Minister, 58 types of general and 16 types of emergency medicines have been made available in 48 temporary health camps set up on Kanwaria Path, apart from two bedded rooms. On the other hand, medical officers, nurses and paramedical staff have been deputed 24 hours a day for seven days.

45 Ayush doctors will do duty in 3 shifts

During this, decoction will be distributed by the State Ayush Committee to protect against corona. The distribution of decoction at all the three selected places will be monitored by the District Indigenous Medical Officer, Bhagalpur and the District Desi Medical Officer, Munger. For monitoring this entire process, five-five i.e. 45 AYUSH doctors have been deputed in three shifts in all the three camps. The decoction and medicine will be distributed to the devotees on the basis of their health condition after the permission of the doctors.

Ayush decoction will be given in the camps

Mangal Pandey said that on the one hand in the state, the process of giving vaccine to curb corona is fast. At the same time, efforts are being made to reduce the effect of corona through Ayush decoction for the devotees coming to Shravani Mela. He said that the use of decoction has helped in preventing infection in the past to prevent corona infection. For monitoring the medical facilities in the health camps falling in the health fair area, a state level control room has been set up in the State Health Committee, Patna. Posters, hoardings and banners have also been put up on Kanwaria Path for the purpose of spreading awareness among Kanwariyas about prevention of corona infection, corona test and vaccination.
