Who are the 5 highest paid CEOs of India’s IT industry, how much is their annual income?

The IT industry in the country is known for paying higher salaries than other industries. C. Vijayakumar of HCL- He received a total income of Rs 123.13 crore ($ 16.5 million) in 2021. The company has given this information in its annual report. His base salary was $2 million. He got another two million dollars under variable pay. At the same time, he got $ 20,000 through other benefits. The largest part of his income came from long term incentives of about $ 125 million.

Wipro’s Thierry Delaporte – He received Rs 79.8 crore ($ 1.05 million) in the financial year 2021-22 as annual income. Thierry was made CEO of Wipro in July 2020 and his income for FY21 was Rs 64 crore.

Salil Parekh of Infosys- Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys, received a salary of Rs 71.02 crore for the financial year 2021-22. The company’s board has extended his tenure for another 5 years i.e. till 2027. Along with this, his salary has been increased to 79.75 crores.

Tech Mahindra’s CP. Gurnani- In the financial year 2021-22, his income increased by 189 percent to Rs 63.4 crore. According to the company’s annual report, their remuneration includes salary, stock and facilities provided up to one year after the end of service.

Rajesh Gopinathan of TCS- Rajesh Gopinathan, CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, received a remuneration of Rs 25.75 crore in the financial year 2021-22. According to the company’s annual report, there was an increase of 26.6 percent in their income.
